The Garmin 1300 GPS Navigator features a widescreen, ultra-slim design (about 25% thinner than previous models), improved user interface, ecoRoute, public transport mode and text-to-speech for all models. The nüvi 1300 nüvi series are the first devices to offer pedestrian-activated navigation system with optional power CityXplorer cards that can for selected tourist destinations in North America and Europe only, and is simply loaded directly on the nüvi. The nüvi improved user interface provides enhanced graphics and a new slider control for menu operation, while proposing ecoRoute economical way, the drivers to save money and fuel. It also allows the new Garmin mode to navigate public transportation with bus, streetcar, subway and suburban train systems. Plus, the device is preloaded with City Navigator NT 48 states.
