For the sake of making a market in the segment of smartphones, sony ericson mobile phones launched a new class of high-end x10 xperia. This phone was launched with five variants: x10 xperia, xperia x10 mini, mini pro x10 xperia, xperia vivas x10, and x10 vivas xperia pro. besides, sony ericson also plans to launch a new variant for low-end with a cheaper price than x10 xperia this. But for the series has not been announced.
With the launch xperia x10, sony ericson expect to get a large enough market share in high-end mobile segment currently dominated by brand nokia, blackberry, and apple.
